Ottawa



Introduction:
Ottawa is the capital and the fourth largest city of Canada. The city is situated on the banks of the Ottawa River in the province of Ontario. Ottawa plays host to a variety of annual activities and festivals due to its range in temperatures. Ottawa is the seventh coldest capital in the world by annual average temperature. Though short in length, summers in Ottawa are fairly warm and humid. Ottawa's primary employers are the Canadian federal government and the hi-tech industry. Since Ottawa has a growing high-tech company base, the city is often referred to as the 'Silicon Valley of North'.
